Agriculture

Maintain and promote soil fertility with mycorrhiza. INOQ Advantage offers the ideal product to use mycorrhiza in agriculture.

INOQ mycorrhiza in agriculture

Today a farmer has to feed more than 100 people. There is a considerable increase in society’s demands for healthy nutrition (quantity, free of pollutants, varied, affordable).

With the intensification of agriculture, a soil management adapted to the respective location and soil conditions is increasingly gaining in importance. This primarily refers to the maintenance and strengthening of soil fertility as the basis for sustainable agriculture.

INOQ ADVANTAGE with mycorrhizal fungi is a highly concentrated inoculum in a new formulation (concentrate, pellets, powder). It can be mixed individually with different substrates and, when applied, improves the air, water and nutrient balance in the soil.

RESULTS FROM
MYCORRHIZA RESEARCH

Increase of grain yield by 15% through mycorrhiza treatment
Conversion to controlled organic farming

Cultivation in Lower Saxony, Institute for Plant Culture, Loitze, Germany, 2021

The graph shows the result of an EIP project carried out with different companies from the fields of research, application and distribution. The trial was conducted on a field characterized as sandy soil with below 30 soil points.

With these conditions, the soil presents difficult conditions for agricultural crops. In addition, a conversion situation from conventional cultivation to controlled organic cultivation could be simulated on this area. In such a situation, the expectation of good yields decreases further.

In the experiment, mycorrhiza was added to the seed during maize sowing by means of microgranule spreaders. The aim was to investigate the effect under mentioned conditions on the quality and yield of grain maize.

As a result, an increase in yield of almost one ton per hectare was observed compared to the control. In the situation with these more difficult conditions, the result can be considered a great success.

Increased plant growth and more fine roots through the use of mycorrhiza in conventional agriculture

Cultivation in Hesse, Blackert farm, Niederellenbach, Germany, 2021

Clearly visible increased plant growth and improvement of soil biology thanks to effective products compatible with current technology. This results in additional cost efficiency.

Increasing plant growth of silage maize by the addition of mycorrhiza.

The aim of the trial was to investigate the influence of mycorrhiza introduced during corn sowing on the quality and yield of silage corn.

The project was coordinated by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Land- und Wasserwirtschaft Rotenburg and carried out on two farms in Hesse.

The pictures illustrate the increased plant growth on the inoculated area compared to the control. In addition, the leaves of the plants show a darker coloration.

Mycorrhizal treatment in intercrop and corn.

simbiosis micorrízica

Increased fine root content due to the addition of mycorrhiza.

In addition, the inoculated plants showed a higher proportion of fine roots. This area of the root system is where symbiosis with mycorrhiza takes place.

Analysis of plant constituents revealed, among other things, a higher content of nitrogen in the inoculated plants.

In terms of dry matter yield, an increase of 31% was achieved. The energy content of the silage as a harvested product was also increased, so that the value was 6% higher than in the control.

The project showed great success in the field of conventional corn cultivation with the parameters studied.

Increase of mycorrhization and starch content in controlled organic cultivation of grain maize

Cultivation in Lower Saxony, Cordts farm, Molden, Germany, 2021

.

The results come from an EIP project carried out with various partners from the fields of research, application and distribution.

The addition of mycorrhiza during sowing resulted in successful mycorrhizae in the roots of the corn plants. The frequency as well as the intensity of these mycorrhizae could be significantly increased compared to the control.

Increasing starch content in grain maize by adding mycorrhiza during sowing.

Starch content 75,63%

The aim of the project was to highlight the effects of added mycorrhiza during sowing on the quality and yield of grain corn.

For this purpose, among other things, the starch content was investigated. This parameter is one of the most important ingredients for the forage quality of grain maize. The content in the investigated corn kernels could be significantly increased by 3% in an organically produced corn by adding mycorrhiza during sowing.

Thus, the result shows various positive effects of mycorrhiza on the cultivation of corn.
